What kind of car insurance for a adapted van?

Ok I have a 1993 Dodge Caravan. I am disabled so it has a ramp that is let out and brought back in. It has disabled hand controls and a drivers seat that raises and lowers and turns around.. just a bit more than your average seat does now-a-days.. this van was adapted when it was made.. so i have no receipts on the modifications or anything.. i could get an estimate from a local store that deals in strictly handicapped equipment.. how do i properly insure this van? I need to make sure that if it is ever totaled that i dont get just blue book. since i have to have a adapted van (i live in a rural area and there is no dependable handicapped public transportation) i have the permanent general insurance now, with a $1000 on the custom equipment. but i worry thats not enough or maybe even doesnt cover my handicap adaptions. the agent with them was snappy, rude, and didnt know anything.. ugh! what company should i go to? what do i need to have in my policy? help! i keep getting all this bad advice from the insurance companies because no one knows what to do!!!

So I was just checking the general insurance prices (I know they change regularly, but I just wanted to see) Anyway, I typed all my information, I was the main driver (I didn't put my parents down as additional drivers either) and the cheapest price was 694.94 - would that have been for the year? Soo I'm looking at two cars, the 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS and the 2002 Ford Mustang. Both are convertible, the Mitsu is a V4 while the Ford is a V6. Audatex is not kelly blue book they look at craigslist & not the dealer. Craigslist sometimes has cars where a mechanic might not catch it but is damaged. I just had to bring my car to the shop for a repair. They ended up needing to keep it. Now a rental was covered under the warranty. So at least the rental was covered. But the guy had me signing off on insurance and what not. I guess the insurance on my car would cover the rental if I had an accident. But they would take from my cars deductible. So I basically signed off on a Collision Damage Waiver and also personal accident insurance. I did decline supplemental liability insurance though. Should the warranty be covering these fees or was this an extra that I got talked into? Because if the warranty covers the rental they aren't making anything. My understanding is it could be better because I am covered under their insurance if I have an accident and it wouldn't come off my own cars deductible? Kind of new to this and probably wouldn't have been worth trying to argue it after the fact that I signed off on stuff.So if I use this car for like 3 days I'm in it for like $60 in insurance. Also does anyone know how this buying the tank of gas works? I understood it as if I use so much then I pay there price of $5.60 a gallon. But I got told it was best to just buy the whole tank at $3.30 per gallon(best option seeing as gas is so much these days) And then to return it as close to empty as possible to get my moneys worth. If anyone can help me out so I know for next time if I can decline stuff or did I take the right steps and take there insurance so mine wouldn't be charged? I want to share a car with my friend, its her car and we will share tax and maintenance but the big problem is insurance. In the worst case scenario of my having an accident I don't want to jeopardise her no claims discount I ideally would also like to build up my own no claims if possible. Did not want to renew the car insurance, they did it anyway.?

Our car insurance was expiring on the 28th of may. We had all the premium paid by the end of march. At the end of april we got rid of the car. Couple of days later we received renewal documents from the insurance company. We have been with those company for 2 years, we didn' t make any claims. For the past 2 years we were paying 102 pounds a month. The renewal documents were saying that we only got the 1 year NCB and that our monthly instalment is going to be 140 pounds a month. I rang them on the 6th of may and said that first of all we have 2years of NCB and we want the documents from them proving that , second of all I have asked how come the instalment went from 100 pounds to 140 pounds a month the nice guy explained that there was a mistake (in their system 1 year of NBC was showing) and now it has been sorted and we are going to receive the proof of 2 years NBC and the monthly instalment is going to be 100 pounds. I thanked the guy and said that we do not wish to extend the insurance and I am only waiting for the 2years of NBC. He said ok and I thought it was sorted. We went on holiday abroad on 21st of May and got back on the 7th of June and imagine my surprise when in the post I have found the letter from insurance company with the certificate of insurance enclosed and them thanking me for deciding to stay with them and saying that my monthly instalment is 130 pounds!!! (because apparently i decided not to the the brakedown cover that i had before!!!!) I decided to call them first thing in the morning, but befor I did it i checked my account and of course they have already debited it with 130 pounds. I called them and the woman there explained that they were never informed of not extending the policy and that of course they have it registered that i phoned on the 6th of may with questions but they called me and left a message on my voicemail and apparently i never rang them back. She explained that all I have to do is to send the certificate of motor insurance back and then i will get the money. So i did. Once they got it they rang me saying that now they want the proof of selling/scrapping the car, WHY???I do not think it is any of their business. Especially that as far as I am concerned I am not cancelling the policy , I never wanted it. It is all their fault they did not listen. Can I do something about it, I have also got the funny feeling they are not going to give me full refund that they are gonna come up with something.

Ok, I just started getting birth control. My insurance requires a $100 deductible and after that my prescription is only $30 a month. So, the first pack of pills I received cost $52 and some change. I was assuming my second pack would be like, $48 and then after that would be $30 a month. Well, I got my second pack and it was like $57 and some change. That is what my birth control cost with no insurance. So what happened? I felt like I have paid more than my deductible. I expect next time my pack of pills to be only $30. Thanks!

Hi what is the best 600cc sports bike for an 18 year old bearing in mind the insurance?

I need some help with choosing my first 600cc bike at the moment i ride a skygo 125cc (yes chinese lol) but i turn 18 in a couple of weeks and am looking to buy my first big bike. iv had a look at the cbr 600 but not to keen on the shape to be honest and dont really like the shape of the r6 so im looking at the kawasaki ninja / suzuki gsxr 600 and 750. any ideas would really help insurance would play a big part for me to so i need the cheapest really and what price would i be looking at ? if anyone has any other bikes to suggest i would apreciate that aswell ?
